Location

Appleton Field is located in Scituate, Massachusetts at 251 Clapp Road, within the Crosbie Family Preserve Conservation. It is in an area known to locals as "The West End." Contrasting with the more famous imagery of Scituate's crashing waves, beautiful beaches, and famous lighthouse, The West End is a heavily wooded area. Winding country roads are dotted with the homes of its residents: from 18th century farmhouses to new construction. The area is known for its idyllic, quieter pace and its popular trail system, including Higgins MacAllister, Bates Lane, Crosbie, and Damon Trails
